Undergraduate Student Research Project: Hypothesis about Human Antebrachiocarpal articulation Project presented in the All Ukranian Scientific applied conference for young scientists and students in Lugnask state medical university 2007 and received a level 1 diploma for the project.

Postgraduate Research Project: Comparative Study of RIPASA vs ALVARADO scoring system in diagnosing Appendicitis – A Prospective Study in Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain Hospital, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. (2016-2019) .Project was submitted to The National Board of Examinations, New Delhi in partial fulfilment for the award of degree of Diplomate of national board in General Surgery.

Superspeciality Research Project: 1) WIFI scoring in patients receiving PGE1 for non-reconstructable peripheral arterial disease – an observational study.

Qualification

An alumnus of Calicut Medical College 35th batch. Did MBBS in 1997 and Post-Graduation (MS (General Surgery) -2002, Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in the year 2005. Obtained Fellowship in Vascular Surgery from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Sciences, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India in 2005. He was admitted as a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2006. He obtained ChM in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery from the University of Edinburgh, in 2019.

Experience

Obtained advanced training in Vascular Surgery at Dusseldorf, Germany in 2006 and at St. James’s Hospital, Dublin, Ireland in 2008 and later at Mayo Clinic, USA, King’s College Hospital, London.

Expert in solving blockage in Peripheral Artery via angioplasty or Bypass Surgery which is suitable for patient to avoid maximum chances of Amputation (Limb Cutting off)

Initiated the DNB Super Specialty program in Vascular Surgery at Starcare Hospital, which is the first and only such training program in Kerala.

With his presence, Starcare is now the no. 1 centre for comprehensive vascular surgery solutions with global standards in north kerala.

Currently also Assistant Editor, Indian Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery.
